Kevin Ryan now paints full time after deciding in 1994 to retire early from his career as a commodity trader in order to further develop his painting skills.

His inspiration ranges from the landscape painting of J.W.M Turner up to the work of modern day painters Joan Eardley, Ivon Hitchens and John Blockley.

His work is in private and corporate collections in both the U.K. and overseas.

He has exhibited in a number of locations, and has won awards including the Jackie Winkworth Award 1998.
