May 2009 Artlands at Wolterton Hall, Norfolk A mixed exhibition presented by Artlands at the Norfolk estate of Lord and Lady Walpole. 28 March to 16 May Kings Lynn Arts Centre, King Street, Kings Lynn, Norfolk 'Eastern Open 2009, 40th Anniversary Exhibition' The eastern region's major open exhibition across seven counties selected by an internationally recognised panel of arts curators. 2008 November to end December Angela Mellor Gallery, St Mary's Street, Ely, Cambs. A joint solo exhibition by Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan of East Anglian landscape paintings. The gallery is a beautifully restored 17th century building opposite the cathedral in the historic centre of Ely. This building also contains the studio of ceramicist Angela Mellor, the gallery owner, and provides a perfect setting for the contemporary paintings and ceramics shown. 9 March to 5 April Grapevine Gallery A joint-solo exhibition by Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan based on their month’s residency in July 2006 at the former studio of celebrated Scottish artist, Joan Eardley, in Catterline, a tiny fishing village near Aberdeen. The studio, The Watch House, is perched on the clifftop at the edge of the village and is very little changed since Eardley’s time. The exhibition will feature work derived from this inspirational experience. 2007 18 November to 24 December Artlands Christmas Exhibition A mixed exhibition including Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan. 21 September onwards Big Blue Sky Gallery Autumn Show Ann-Marie Ryan will be a featured artist in a mixed gallery show. 13 July to 1 September Stour Gallery Summer Exhibition A mixed exhibition including Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan. 29 April to 20 May Artlands Summer Exhibition Number Nine Nelson Street, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, PE30 5DX A mixed exhibition including Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan at Artlands’ new premises in the historic maritime quarter of Kings Lynn. 29 April to 20 May Artlands at Wolterton Hall A mixed exhibition including Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan presented by Artlands at the Norfolk estate of Lord and Lady Walpole. 30 January onwards Cars International Launch Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan were both invited to stage an exhibition of 15 large-scale paintings to celebrate the launch of the prestigious Cars International Formula One Showrooms in Kensington. The evening was opened by Martin Brundle and attended by a host of Grand Prix and celebrity guests. 2006 19 November to 9 December Artlands Christmas Exhibition A mixed exhibition including Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan. 18 October to 22 October The Affordable Art Fair, London Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan are exhibiting with the Riverside Gallery, Stonehaven, Scotland. 18 August to 16 September Stour Gallery Summer Exhibition A mixed exhibition including Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan. July 2006 Residency at Joan Eardley’s former studio Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan have been awarded a residency of 4 weeks at The Watch House, the former studio of the celebrated Scottish artist, Joan Eardley, in Catterline near Aberdeen. They very much admire Eardley’s work and expect it to be a unique and rewarding experience to be able to work in such a special location. 30 April to 21 May Artlands Spring Exhibition A mixed exhibition including Kevin Ryan and Ann-Marie Ryan. 4 February to 31 March The Wonderwall Gallery Bright Days A mixed show of new works. 2 December 2005 to 28 February 2006 Stour Gallery Winter Exhibition New works by gallery artists. 2005 26 November 2005 to 7 January 2006 Ringstead Gallery Christmas Exhibition Kevin Ryan will be exhibiting eight works in this mixed show. August and September Big Blue Sky Gallery Ann-Marie Ryan will be showing five paintings in this mixed summer show. 23 July to 24 July Artlands Festival Exhibition Open weekend viewing. This exhibition features works by contemporary artists and 19th century works by members of The Norwich School. Weekends of 14/15, 21/22, 28/29/30 May Norfolk Open Studios As part of the Norfolk and Norwich Festival Ann-Marie Ryan and Kevin Ryan will be opening their studios to the public from 10am to 5pm on three weekends in May. This is part of one of the biggest visual arts events in the UK with artists right across the county participating and presents a rare opportunity to see these two artists in their working environment in the conservation stone village of Fring situated in the North Norfolk landscape which inspires much of their work. Refreshments will be served. 1 May to 30 May The Bishop's Palace, Wells, Somerset 'This Land', a solo exhibition by Kevin Ryan at the palace, which has been the medieval home of the Bishops of Bath and Wells since 1206. The exhibition explores Man's influence on his surroundings and how his activities have changed the landscape through time. Open Mon-Fri 10.30 to 5pm, Sun 12 noon to 5pm, often open on Saturdays. Tel: 01749 678691 30 April to 5 June Norwich Castle Open Art Fair Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery Ann-Marie Ryan will be exhibiting two works selected from open submission by a panel from the Royal Academy of Arts, London chaired by Maurice Cockrill, Royal Academician. This exhibition is part of the Landscape 200 series of exhibitions celebrating the Bicentenary of the Norwich School of Artists and is organised by Norfolk Museums & Archaeology Service and East Anglia Art Foundation.
